Open Position: Finance Officer

UniqCast is expanding, and we are excited to announce a new full-time opportunity within our Finance Department: Finance Officer.
As a Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the payments of invoices and salaries, maintaining precise cash flow management.
- Collect and organize incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely record-keeping
- Prepare invoices, proforma invoices and purchase orders.
- Prepare cash flow projections and various financial reports to assist in strategic planning.
- Monitor debtors and facilitate collections to maintain healthy accounts.
- Gather necessary documentation for monthly VAT reporting.
- Coordinate the preparation of quarterly financial reports (GFI) and yearly financial statements (RDG).
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and manage account consolidation with clients and vendors.
- Collaborate with external accounting during audit preparations.
- Work with HR to manage salary payments effectively.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with tax advisors for guidance when needed.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably with work experience in companies with international clients and vendors.
- Substantial understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Hiring process
1. Initial Interview: We will review all resumes, and if we find that you might be a good match for us, you will be invited to an initial interview. This interview is usually held via video call.
2. Assessment: If you pass the initial Interview you will be sent an assignment with a three-day deadline.
3. In-depth Interview and Assignment Presentation: After delivering your solution, you will be invited to present it via video call.
4. Final Interview: Candidates who show the most potential will be invited to a final interview. In this interview, we will discuss your / our expectations, and we will assess the level of alignment with our organizational goals. This interview is typically done in person.
5. Job Offer: If all goes well, you will receive a written job offer. If you decide to accept our offer, we can begin the employment process.
