Open Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
UniqCast, a global leader in IPTV and OTT video delivery solutions, is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing team.
Your Role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating, deploying, and managing our CI/CD and service infrastructure. You will take ownership of essential systems such as our continuous integration (Jenkins, Bitbucket), service orchestration (Docker Swarm), Event logging (OpenSearch).
Key Responsibilities
- directly responsible for the design, implementation, and improvement of our infrastructure tools while also coordinating with other departments and supporting team members in their growth
- Oversee the performance of our Jenkins, Docker Swarm, and CDN systems
- Tuning of software stack for production environments
- Optimizing our systems and processes
- Maintaining a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Research, test, and introduce new tools and technologies into production
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team in technical direction, task distribution, and daily collaboration
- Architect, optimize, and manage our CI/CD systems and service infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and reliability
- Define and document team procedures and DevOps best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge-sharing within the team
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience, including 2+ years in a senior or team lead role
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments and scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Proven experience with tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, OpenSearch, Kibana, Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD, orchestration, and containerization (Docker Swarm or Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring systems (Grafana, Prometheus) and networking basics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team
- A strong desire to grow people, processes, and technology

Hiring process:
1. Initial Interview: We will review all resumes, and if we find that you might be a good match for us, you will be invited to an initial interviews. This interviews is usually held via video call. It might be up to 2 initial interviews.
2. Assessment: If you pass at the initial interviews, you will be sent an assignment with a deadline.
3. In-depth Interview and Assignment Presentation: After delivering your solution, you will be invited to present it via video call.
4. Final Interview: Candidates who show the most potential will be invited to a final interview. In this interview, we will discuss your / our expectations, and we will assess the level of alignment with our organizational goals. This interview is typically done in person.
5. Job Offer: If all goes well, you will receive a written job offer. If you decide to accept our offer, we can begin the employment process.
